Life in Lonely Island: feasibility study on generating fuel from the waste.

Current amount of waste created evry month is mor dan enogh to giv powersuply to the whole island

Waaaa…what cannot b done wit technology in this modern world. Enivironment ministry research team is here in fuvahmulah doiin a feasibility study on generating energy from the waste. American based company is handiling this project for the ERC wihci will b also done in 4 othr islands othr dan GN.atoll (fuvahmulah). Actually m not dat surprised to knw abt this whole mechanism; I saw kinda similar stuff abt this months ago in the National geographic channel.Today wen iwent to the waste Dump area The ERC’s team was burning in hot sun in the afternoon, pickin waste putting dem to sacks, weighing dem..i met Tory- a Moroccan, who was here as the consultant, and the Enviroment mintrys team. aftr I went to the waste Dump area whr they were doin the research, askd “how is it going” later on, off the camera-bfr the actual interview we had a good chat. One keynote was, though fossil fuel is expensive & inexact for now, sum ppl dnt realize it. Sum ppl dnt realize dat thr r othr ways to overcome the problem wit the fuel & waste. Community Convincing part is goin to b a huge challenge smwhr beginning of this project. Tory says the current amount of waste created evry month is mor dan enogh to giv powersuply to the whole island.can u beleve this!! also doin this wud help us to reduce the amount of money we spend on electricity bills. Kewl!! But the question is wen? Hmm.. lets wait & see how “feasible” dis feasibity study is goin to b??

PS:In the pic; foreign consultnt pickin waste for the study
